running a mamba max pro with tekin 13.5t on 3c lipo.should i run external bec?

Yes, you need an external BEC!

If you are planning to use a servo that has over 150oz of torque, ABSOLUTELY YES...

A BEC is never going to hurt how your rig performs. If you ask the question than the answer is automatically yes when asking about a BEC.

Definitely. I tried to run mine without one and the motor kept glitching/stuttering.

With 2s voltage, you MAY be able to get away with it and get poor servo performance. With 3s voltage its definitely a recommendation.

so on my hitec hs5646wp,should i set the bec for 6v or leave it set at default,which is what ,about 5v?

Check this out: 5645wp

According to that spec sheet - set it to 7.4 for best performance
