Did it act erratic before the new servo? I've seen a number if cases where a faulty servo causes funny things to happen with other connected electronics.

I had a bad servo on my new summit straight out of the box and it would go a few feet and shut off. TRAXXAS warranted the servo and all was well and good once it was replaced.

I diagnosed the problem with some help from the trax forum and simply unplugged each servo until the problem went away. I left it unplugged, removed the linkages and ran with just a single 2075 until the replacement arrived.

IF you find the servo is the problem and they have another 2080 at the LHS I'd return it. If not, it took TRAXXAS a week or so to send me a replacement.

After further thinking...that small of an esc might not be able to take that big of a servo...I'm not up to date on the specs of a fireball...sorry for jumping in so hastily.
