Default servo shot or esc problem?

i have a scx 10 crew cab with a original sidewinder, 55 turn novak motor a cs 170 servo. turn right under full power not problems. turn left under full power truck slows down for some reason. everything is clean. hooked up how it should be.. any ideas thanks

Check your steering EPA's? You may be binding the steering linkage and overdrawing the internal BEC causing a RX brownout.

Could be what Charlie 3 is sayin. Try to find a hitech servo tester. They can test them in or out of the car. But not under load? Or you may have to just swap out known good parts
I have a wraith that had a glitch problem. Wheels shuttered slow speeds, it didn't do it all the time. I swapped out electronics till I figured it out. Servo was overpowered. Bec fixed it it works great now. Don't loose interest and you will figure it out. Good luck.

I had this problem on my scx... adjusted the endpoint for the side it was turning to and slowing down.. fixed the problem and didnt lose any steering, hope this helps

thanks. end points seem fine.. i adjust it more going to lose steering. i realized that i run 2s no problem. i run 3s that when it happens.. didnt put the bec on there yet. maybe thats it

If you're running 3S and the servo is over ~200inoz, then yes.....you need an external BEC.
On 2S, the internal BEC is not working as hard and can handle a bit more servo load.

not even close. 106oz at 4.8v and 133oz at 6v... its a tower ts-70 servo thanks
