Default rs pro cutting at full throttle

I have a rspro with a pro4 3300kv running 2s in my wraith and for some reason, when I apply full throttle, it slow down to a crawling speed. I can run at 90% and it run great but even when at speed, if I go full, it slow down. Any idea what's the problem?

I think i would try recalibrating the esc to the radio first, making sure all of the trims, epas and expo are at zero. What batteries are you using? type, voltage, capacity, etc... After that we can keep diagnosing the issue.

Actually, throttle EPA's should be set to 100%.

And yes, what are the specs on the batteries? We know 2S, what mah & what "C"?

Also, what connectors on the pack, hopefully Deans or similar, NOT Tamiya!

I use 5000mah 25C 2s battery with dean connector. I'll first check my radio setting (flysky gt3-c).

I'm a newbie so before messing all around, I'll try the simpliest then ask you again if the problem still occur.

thanks

I know those Pro4 motors like power.
You might have to step up to a higher C rating battery. 25c isn't bad, but I was running 65c in my short course truck, on a pro4 and managed to puff the cells because I over geared the motor.

Also need to know how you have the motor hooked up? Are you running it with the sensor wire hooked up, and are you running the controller in sensored only, or mixed mode?
Do you have a hotwire to program the RSPro?

it run sensored, no hotwire and gearing is stock but with the pro4, it run more like a rock bouncer than a crawler, I overrun my buddy with timbuk2 setup like corvette against civic...

if I remember, I'm not sure if I run throttle profile 1 or 2 but it's mild for sure

cell rating is another thing to look at since I lost steering too so maybe the current is too high.

Did you think running an external bec can help me? I don't think but since I have no experience, I prefer to ask.

will try to do some testing this week and keep you aware of the results

thank you again guy
