Default Cogging with MMP 13.5 Tekin

It shouldn't cog unless your sensor lead is no good or it is set to brushed mode.

Have you tried it with the sensor lead unplugged to see if it does the same thing connected and disconnected?

The default setting in the MMP will work about the only thing I would change is to set it to Sensored Only instead of Smart Sense and make sure Start Power is set to Low (default).

I recently had trouble with the same motor / esc combination. I took out the motor to do some cleaning around the tranny. When I plugged the motor back in, I mixed up the A B C order of the wires. Thought I broke something!

Probably not the same trouble that you are having, but thought I would put it out there just in case.

Double check that you're in smart sense mode, sensor cable is plugged in, and you have ABC matched properly.

Turn the timing on the motor down to 0. This helped a bunch for my setup. I set my mmp to sensored mode and made sure the sensor cable was plugged in all the way.

What he said, and could be a bad sensor cable...

I did the same exact thing today! Changed sensor wire, reflashed software, took motor back out and I thought 'what did I do, it ran fine before I took it out!'

Yes, I then flew the moron flag.

Agreed, it probably not the case, it was a horrible sound. The thing that kept throwing me off was it was running ok at higher RPMs, but down low sounded like gears stripping. You have probably already checked, but it is an easy thing to do. Even for those of us that have taken dozens of motors out.

Edit: Sorry, just ready your post above. Excellent, glad you got it figured it out.
