Default Battery size question~

I need to find some batteries for my Bronco build but am under size constraints, where should I be looking for batteries that are in different configurations? (size wise)

thanks!

If your talking Ni-Cad or NiMH just buy loose cells and make the configuration you want. If its lipo your talking, low MAH(milliamperes) like 1000+ is the ticket

You can also run multiple small lipo packs in parallel, say 1 lipo at the front and 1 at the rear.

If you contact Chris @ cheapbatterypacks.com or Chris_The_Battery_Man on this forum he could probably make you up some split lipo packs so you don't have to run multiple packs.

with the low MAH packs you loose the run time dont you? (lets be honest, my stupid scale Bronco isnt all about the run time anyway)

also, if you have one small MAH pack say 850, and run a second 850, do you now have 1700? Or I guess that depends on if your running in series or parallel right?

Correct one way would be double MAH/same voltage. The other would be same MAH/double voltage If you could post a pic of your chassis so we have an idea of where you have space it would help.

will aim to post pics in the am when I can upload faster- I can tell you the main fuel tank area is: 1 1/2W x 2 1/8L x 1 1/8 or maaaaybe 1 1/4H.

I can run another battery in the reserve fuel tank area- that is a bit of a different shape-

Just check the batt sizes on the manufacturers site. A quick look showed me that an 850mah 2s might squeeze in there with the brand that I use.
