Default Roc 412 or 13.5 with r2 Heavy Duty trans?

Hi all,
So I was thinking of upgrading my comp buggy to an Ultra4 (total suspension and power plant makeover).

Right now I am running a BRXL and a HH 27 turn on 3s. It's pretty much a good set up, but was thinking of adding a little more top end. I don't need to go super fast, just a mildly fast.

I have had awesome luck with the HD trans with a cheap 13.5 in the past. It has all metal 32 pitch internals. My driveline is already beefy, so that's taken care of.

I know the R2 trans is geared a lot lower then the Axial trans, so I may go up to a higher KV?

Also, I know the R2 trans is not the top choice, but it fits the best in my buggy, and like I said, it's all metal internals..

Any opinions?

Here's the rig. Think old XRRA or newer Ultra4. Kinda fast is good.
