Default Motor Issue

So I got my first motor wound up and plugged it into a battery to test it... at first it wasn't working at all but I barely turned the shaft and it started spinning... But after about 10 seconds it starts to kinda lose power instead of keeping consistent power... I tried it with a couple fully charged 2s batteries... What would be the issue?

Now don't take this the wrong way, as last time I advised someone on this I got labeled the asshole on the forum.

First, even if you managed to wind it correctly, how were you gonna terminate it, epoxy it, and balance it.....these are all special processes that take expensive equipment and materials to do correctly, especially if the item is going to be sold to the public.

Winding with the small arms is a pain. It's not as easy as everyone makes it out to be......the small wire has VERY thin insulation, so it is easy to scratch off. When to areas connect, the arm gets a short.

Further more, Epoxy is very important on the smaller arms. Even the slower winds move fast enough to vibrate the wires and make them move....moving causes friction, friction rubs off insulation.....SHORT happens. There is a reason the slot car guys (who arms are similar size) have crazy epoxy setups and they don't do anything that vibrates the arm (like an ultrasonic cleaner).

Balance is gonna factor in on the vibrations....balance is needed. Only a few balancers can do the smaller arms. A quillen can't do them, a Heins could if you wanna reconfigure it...A Hoffman is the standard in slots..........

It's cool you got his stock, but I would get them done correctly like Rockhard did........what you have in your hands is the last of those in the world.....all the molds and dies are destroyed.
