|  general Electronics Help Vehicle: HPI Apache C1 Flux – Stock electronics. Vehicle stopped working. Fresh batteries - no lights on ESC, no power to receiver or servo…nothing. I tested each component separately and verified all working ok. So I decided to put a receiver battery in the “bat” port on the receiver and everything came to life and was working properly. WTF…what would cause this to happen? Why am I not getting any power from the main batteries/ESC to the receiver? The only thing I could think of was that maybe the BEC circuit in the receiver is bad? Any insight would be appreciated, Thanks! |

Probably the BEC circuit in the ESC at fault. Does the fan come one when you turn the switch on with a battery connected? From memory the fan should do a quick test when you turn the vehicle on. |

I say the ESC BEC circuit died (for whatever reason). You can run an external BEC (most will suggest a Castle Creations 10A BEC) to bypass a problem issue. | |
