good tx/rx for dig? whats a good tx/rx combo to run dig? anything out there for around a $50 price range? |
Re: good TX/rx for dig? Used?...yes. Better, get a NEW hacked GT3B or GT3C. Then you can step up to dual ESC's which is a LOT better. You get a low price for the set-up, cheap (~$9 ea) RX's, lots of support here. You also get up to 8 channels. |
Re: good tx/rx for dig? used new either way i dont really care whatever will work! ive read about using the tq3 with the modded switch was considering that just seeing what else is out there and others opinions |
Re: good tx/rx for dig? If you have multiple rigs, the hacked GT3B/C is nice in that is has a multi model memory. You pick a rig, turn on the TX, pick the model you will be running, then turn on the rig. No tweaking of settings."thumbsup""thumbsup" |
Re: good tx/rx for dig? by hacked what exactly do you mean? i have the tq3 modded already but i just cant get it to function quite right..seems like the dig servo is trying to throw to far? and i cant get it to stop in the middle where the shaft is in free spin mode |
Re: good tx/rx for dig? Hacked by LosiKid of www.OverkillRC.com. It has a different firmware that changes it from 3 channels to 8 with lots of other options. |
Re: good tx/rx for dig? hmm that aint to bad. what other radios are out there that work well with dig? was just researching about the wantasummit 3 position adaptor would that work like i want? http://www.overkillrc.com/products.h...067&id=4289122 and just incase let me specify im running single tekin motor with a r2 trans with disconnect waterproof xl5 esc, steering and dig servo and traxxas tq3 tx/rx with switch mod on the remote |
Re: good tx/rx for dig? OverkillRC has a few adaptors that allow some 3 channel radios to work a dig unit. You can also look to HeyOK as he has a broader selection. Unless you have a lot of money tied up in the TX & RX's, I would really look to the hacked GT3B or GT3C. It's under $100 to buy a TX & RX, new RX's are ~$6-10 depending on the # of channels you need. So, a simple rig can use a 3 or 4 channel RX and a more complex rig may need a 6 or 8 channel RX. Just use a different model memory for each rig.8) |
Re: good tx/rx for dig? i did some more reading about the gt3b sounds pretty sweet might have to go with that option looks like it might come with a rx as well? i really appreciate the information! "thumbsup" |
