bough this today pm me and i will give you a web site, the drill runs underwater the brush particles accumulate on the side of the bucket. I bought a bottle and 24oz. 20$ sprayed some on a compressor switch that has sat in the weather for a while and did not work. had the switch on and sprayed and almost instantly it went to running. rained on it three times since and no trouble. going to use it on my elecs. and tell ya what happened |

Not only do you have a waterproof drill, you have waterproof electricity. Good job. Seriously, you will electrocute yourself. Don't do that any more. |

i've done some very stupid things in my time concerning electricity. wiring live outlets, changing halogen lights with the circuit still on in the middle of the night, the occasional kneeling in a puddle while running the welder at 150a, and the trump card, wet location, wet 220v cord. all that being said, i have to say that that may be the most intentionally idiotic thing i've ever seen that didn't involve the words "hold my beer and watch this".

Looks like a 2 prong plug on the drill, thus double insulated and a LOT safer than a 3 prong plug. Way back when, when I was a site mechanic, I had a similar sales guy come in with a similar "sales pitch". It was great until I asked, "Here is my own drill (3 prong Milwaukee 1/2" magnum holeshooter) and if you want, spray it down and do the same test!" The sales guy declined. In his pitch, his drill would have likely worked the same with or without the "spray". |

Please don't spread such pictures, someone is bound to try it at home and get seriously hurt or die in the process. That aside, I see nothing impressive with the demo. As stated in many threads here, brushed motors run fine underwater, it may not be good for them but they will run. As for electrocution, pure water (like distilled water) does not conduct electricity. Contaminants from the drill, especially the brushes, might change that but he might still be safe long enough for the snake oil demo. |

lol this post is awesome. i understand it's not you doing this, but man. thats nuts. It makes me wonder if the plug is actually dead and the drill is battery operated for the pitch.. or this guy REALLY wants to sell his product, and it's worth Dieing for. You should see how I make toast in the bathtub, i'll be sure to post pictures soon.
