Default CC BEC No Worky

So I got CC BEC and connected it to a MMP SCT with a CC 1415-2700kv.
Set the ESC up and everything worked great for about 1/2 a battery, then it died.
I thought it was the receiver so swapped them out and it still was jittery when I connected the battery.
Then decided to remove the BEC from the connection and start everything up. Perfect! Everything runs and runs great just like I expected.
Hook the BEC back up and power ON and the steering is jittery and the motor doesn't run.
Unhooked - Great!!

Do I have a bad BEC?

I'm by no means an expert on this, but I would check the connections to see if they're good. I don't really know, but see if there is any programing needed to be done. Good luck and hope you get it working!

I would assume you have the red wire from the esc disconnected when you have the bec plugged in? Do you keep the esc ground wire while the bec is plugged in? Sometimes that has been the culprit for me.

It could also just be a bad bec, first I would try to load an older version of firmware to the bec if possibly.

Yes. RED wire is disconnected from ESC lead.

RED wire from BEC is soldered to the RED wire of the ESC battery connection.
BLACK wire from BEC is soldered to the BLACK wire of the ESC battery cnnection.

(or at least they were. I can recheck that to verify)

Haven't messed with the firmware/programming of the BEC. Just hooked it up and ran it.

Bright green.
Just unhooked everything and found the Shift servo is bad (twinhammer). Left the shift servo unhooked and connected everything else.
Green light on the BEC. No glitching. No sputtering. No crap behavior. Worked perfectly (for the 3 minutes I had it on).

Not sure if the shift servo failure had anything to do with the BEC, but it seems to have resolved the issue, so far.

Yes bad servos can mess with the rest of the system.
