Default DX3R Set Up Issue

hello, hope someone can give me a suggestion,

I have just installed the drivetrain and receiver to my honcho.
I am using the goat crawler 3S system and a spektrum sr3100
receiver.

When I bind the receiver it says to leave the controller
in the failsafe neutral position. which I would assume is
steering in the middle and no throttle.

It binds fine and is connecting. Steering is in the middle but
throttle seams to be at about 15-20% when the trigger is in the
middle / neutral position. I have to apply reverse to get the rig
to stop. Did I bind this wrong or what do I need to do to get
the throttle to be stopped when no pressure is applied to the trigger
in forward or reverse.

thanks in advance.

Sounds like a throttle trim issue
