Default led wiring questions

I want to run two led's on the front of my bug.
I don't have them yet because I don't know which ones to get.
I modified a servo so that I can supply power on and off from the 3rd channel on my receiver. What led's should I get?

Any ones you want as long as you plan it out and use the correct resistor.

np.
I used these links all the time when I was trying LED wiring out.
Have fun with it.
You can get 50ct/100ct packages of LEDs of eBay for usually under $20 and there are some pre-wired ones if you don't want to mess with the LED soldering, just the wiring portion.

10mm is large. The stock Wraith ones are 5mm, as are most other led kits. I've seen 3mm as well for turn signals and such, but 100mm might be oversized for a model.
I'd probably stick with 5mm and see if you can find the ultra ones, otherwise the normal bright white will be bright enough.

Yeah I thought that at first but when you get the hang of how easy it is you'll want to put led's on every thing.

If you look around ebay you can find smaller counts for less. I got 50 for like 4-5 bucks.

however, 5mm might make more sense financially since I need them for the other body.

That looks good.

Here's a package with resistors.

I know this is 100pc, but 4 colors.

The calculators I listed previously will give you the resistor you will need based on your series. You can get those from theShack or eBay too.

It's always good to have extras. Pins break, LEDs can blow, typical other electrical issues. Start laying out your series too with the input voltage/3.3 (white LED)/20mA. This will tell you which resistors you actually will need based on your series. Then go back to eBay and get MORE STUFF!!!!!!

Just make sure the resistors are the correct ones for the voltage you plan on using to power them. There is a little wiggle room but you led's will last a lot longer if you use the correct ones.

Doesn't really matter but I soldered to the short side.
