Default ESC calibration woes

Had a little bout of frustration/confusion yesterday. I smashed a couple of Mamba Micro Pro's and could not get them to calibrate. Unplugged them from the receiver and tried my servo in both ch 2 and 3.Worked fine. Ruled out the receiver. Rechecked the wiring on the esc's. All looked great. Went back on Castle link and rechecked all settings. I also have a brand new untouched Micro Pro still in the case. Installed that and lo and behold it wouldn't calibrate either!!! Frustration building!! Green and yellow led's flashing.. hmm checked and is low voltage. 3 freshly charged batts and readjusted LVC .. still no luck. All the while i'm thinking wtf!! I change firmware update from 1.39 beta to 1.38 and bingo bango calibration success!! Hopefully this will help some lesser souls out.
