Orion units. They had pretty stiff ones....Trinity never made anything above a purple in reversed, which isn't the stiffest spring. Though I can just make the negative spring the reverse (which I do on them), and use two different springs like we did on the racing days. Later EddieO | ||

You pick Basically on either side, you are just moving the post from the right side of the hood....to the left. Yeah, I sell just the springs, not on the site though. They work on standups or laydowns, but they primarly came on stock and 19t motors, which were almost always a laydown. Later EddieO |

So where does a SISU fit in? If you made the SISU in full size, would it have more potential torque than a Axlebuster? |

A sisu is basically a stubby axle buster.... No way it would catch an axle buster in torque. Later EddieO |

The Chaos 35t is fantastic. It has better drag brake than my 55t and more speed than my 27t and that's on 2s. I can't wait to run it on 3s.

The debate begins between the vapors , conflux or the Stubbys I've got a little bit of time to think on this so I have time to decide on how to have them built but I for sure want a light extreme powerhouse .. I had 30t vapors in my last build and loved them..

Last bit of coolness before I take my long awaited vacation.... Krawfreak's Sisu for the Super Stubby Can with Rust Preventive Coating and Motor Armor 35t 28mm Stubby arm Drill Balanced Dual CB20 Magnets Ceramic Bearings Team Firm Springs with Insulation Lightweight Spring Posts 729 Standup Brushes Lightweight Heatsink Elimination Screws Lightweight Endbell Screws Lightweight Timing Ring Here is a new thing we are working on. Testing so far is very positive. These mostly likely will be in my MOA at nats for people to try. Basically they act just like a skewed arm, but by moving it to the magnets we can then choose different arms for different traits, which we can't do as easily with a magnet. The ability to alter the skew to whatever we want without expensive tooling changes is pretty sweet too. I've looked around RC cars and slots, can't find any type of skewed magnets, so this may be a first. My sporty will be rocking an Axle Buster with a skewed set as well. Good way to do it! I've been proto-ing skewed magnets for about 3 years now and it drives just like a slant arm. It's a trade off of assembly hassle vs winding hassle really. I'm tooled up for fully slanted arms in 26 to 11mm stacks in 23 and 28d, so if you want some just ask. It was easier for me to wind them skewed than to deal with a jig for the non standard magnet. |

Conflux Endbell is done. Been working on these for a while. Final 3d print samples came in and all is perfect. They are lighter than any other plastic 540 endbell out there in stock form, in fact come out lighter than modified units I have done. Main goal of the endbell besides weight was to reduce the overall profile and bulkiness of the current endbell. Less stuff sticking out, less stuff to catch on the rocks. This is Version A, Version B will use a new brush system, but I am waiting on a few parts for those. Should be available by the end of september, and will be an option on the Conflux, Sisu, Foresaken, etc. Later EddieO |

3.3g in the 3d print material. I think Delrin is gonna push it to about 3.6g or so. A sagami weighs in at about 5.5g or so. The fully assembled unit above weighs in at just 11.8g with all the lightweight stuff on it. A stock sagami weighs 22g. Later EddieO |

Mmm... Some serious horsepower showed up today Had to stick them to a steel workbench to take this photo cause they slammed into each other on my desk. Can't wait to do some serious "parts durability tests" with these beasts! Thanks Eddie! Last edited by TSK; 09-03-2013 at 07:35 PM. |
