Default control lights from channel 3

I know there are a lot of ways to do this...
but can I do it this way :

connect one of these to channel 3 on my rx
Multi-Remote Receiver operated on/off Switch
connect a nine volt battery to the switch above,
then connect the switch to an array of 7 led's.

I know this switch is not normally used for just one thing like that, but the normal switch was back ordered.

I would think that would work.

Or, you could use this which is quite a bit smaller: HeyOK Remote Switch for LED Lighting

thanks Dude.
only problem I see with that one is that the lights get their power from the RX. I want to have a separate battery for lighting.
