Default quick question on sensored esc's

am I correct assuming I run the sensor wire plus the 3 main leads between the esc and motor? I have a novac kinetic and a trackstar 17.5

I have also been told I can use my castlelink cord on this to change the throttle curves and etc. is this true?

Yes and on sensored motors the three wire must be in the right order so not to damage the hall sensor. a-a b-b c-c

All wires must be connected. Also, the castle link will only work on cc controllers. You will need the Novak link for that one...

Correct, sorta. The CastleLink will work on Castle Creations ESC's as well as Castle "based" ESC's like a Holmes Hobbies BR-XL or the AE-1/AE-2 ESC.

The CastleLink will also program Castle external BEC's.

Tekin Hotwire does Tekin ESC programming.
Novalink does some Novak ESC programming (M2 dig is a hit or miss item....)

well, yeah. sorry. i was meaning all castle based controllers. also, the navak link only works on a few of their controllers. so.... check with novak to see if your controller will work.
