| TIP: Need an inexpensive 6amp power supply?
Head to the local Target. Vector 12volt-6amp AC/DC converter for $19.99 The 'compact' PS for my Intellipeak died on me last week and I've been debating what to do. N-Power's and the like are like $90 and way overkill for one charger. Even the 7amp jobbies from Fry's are $42, eBay about the same after shipping. We were walking around Target last night and I found these. They're in the automotive section, and are used to power those 12volt refrigerators when you're in the house. Works great. When charging at 4.5 amps, the voltage is 12.6, good enough for me. Long ass URL here!! Online price says $25, but, at least at our local store (Oakridge mall in San Jose), they're $20. |
