Hitech HS-7950TH problems

Hi guys
I use a Hitech HS-7950TH servo in my Bully but I have a problem with this servos. The first time alter one competition the servo is blocked, when I connect the batery servo is blocked, have a 45 minutes of use. I tell to shop and change in warranty for other complet new.
The other new one have same problem after two races, two hours use more or less.
The shop ask me is not warranty, this servo is not for a car.

Ok, I buy another one in other shop but when make crawling after many minutes the servo make stop. I disconect the battery and connect and work well.

I use a 11.1V and castle bec, first servo at 6V and second servo at 7,4V and have same problem.

I connect directly the bec to servo and the signal to servo at receiver.

I don´t understand the problem, My friends use same servo and same conexion and don´t have problems.

I am having the same problem. First one 6v second a 7.4 with castle bec. I contacted Hitec directly and they covered both. I am waiting on my third now. Just seems crazy. They must not run a long quality on them or something.

You sure you don't have any binding in the steering linkage ? Next time you run it put your finger on the servo and see how warm it's getting.

Sounds like you have a binding issue, won't be obvious with 400+ in./oz of torque but feel the servo case the next pack and see if it gets hot...if so then check for bindage......

What servo arm are you using? I had a few cheapies that would rub the servo top cover when turning, this killed a servo quickly.
I now run GH Racing clamping aluminum arms, cheap & they last.

As stated, check the movement of the steering linkage with the servo disconnected, it should move freely. I also have a 2.2 Bully with a 7950 on it (running ~7.6 volts off a CC 10A BEC) and have no issues.

Also make sure the steering EPA's are set correctly, trying to overdrive the servo WILL kill it.

The HiTec 7950 is my "go to servo" for 2.2 comp rigs.
