Default what esc

Making a BIG jeep, powerwheels size.going to use a 500 watt 24v e scooter motor,no kid ridding in it but will still weight prob 50 lb.What esc can I use? (racing cart drive train) I read that a currie 600w motor is 2600rpm rated current 36 amp

Are the motors you are looking at brushed or brushless?
Are you going to run 24 volt?
What battery chemistry will you run (NiCD/NiMH, LiPO, Lead Acid)?
Do you want "instant reverse"?

The ESC's that may cover "yes" to all above are not very common in RC crawlers.

If your wanting to run an r/c esc, then the mamba XL2 is gonna be your best bet. It can run 33 volts, all 8g wires and can handle over 80a continuous. The motor it can come with pushes over 10hp on 8s lipo too....
