|  Can this be done?
I wanna know if I can take a hpi 4000kv flux bl motor and make it sensored to run in my trail truck. Not sure on what esc yet but can this be done and can I change the guts out to lower the kv?

pretty sure it cant be done, i know you can swap rotors, but i dont think it will change the KV of the motor.

You can change the kv if you wanted to rebuild it, but you cannot make it sensored. There is no place to put the sensor in the can nor is there the other parts to make it work. Brushless motors are either sensored or sensorless....
