Default Fly Sky question...

Our local track is thinking of banning the GT3B radios because of interference with other radios.

I have 2 GT3b Radios... 8 receivers... Lipo converted... fully hacked etc. I really like these Radios.

My question is... is there a better Fly Sky Radio that will work with my receivers that does not cause interference with other Fly Sky radios and Spectrum systems?

Has anybody figured out how to stop the Glitching?

You can add a frsky module in the gt3b...but your looking at like $50 for parts. I've done it to mine, but i don't have any how to's written up.

And it'll require new rx's

From my reading, the GT3B does not have a FCC listing, the GT3C does.

This "may" mean the GT3C will "play better" with other 2.4ghz radios.

I believe the GT3B & GT3C RX's are the same.

I have never had an issue with interference with my hacked GT3B when running with other brand radios in my crawler club (at comps) or at home with friends.

They are both fcc certified, use exactly the same 2.4 ghz modules.

OK, fair enough.

I see the FCC cert on the GT3C sites but not on the GT3B sites.

I'll have to check my label when I get home, the FCC test for the GT3B was August last year, mine is before that. Not saying it makes a difference, just pointing it out.

The GT3C was tested last June.

I think it's a conspiracy and they are banning them because you can't buy them local. The racers are just mad they spent $400 on a radio that has the same functions as your hacked radio that you have $100 into.

Could be, I've never had an interference issue. Not saying "yes" or "no".

Either way, I run a hacked GT3B along with Airtronics, Spektrum & Futaba at comps, GTG's and "around home" with no issues.

I would be interested to know how documented the interference is. does sound like a witch hunt to me.
