|  Lipo help!
Ok guys I've done a lot of research on converting to lipos. I'm thoroughly confused now with all the different terms the kit I'm looking at states the battery and charger have a jst-xh balance plug. But I see a different plug listed for Hyperion and thunder power, also when charging 2s and 3s do you charge the balance plug or thru the deans or whatever plug you run. Like I said before I'm very confused right now any help would be greatly appreciated

You can use a balance board to adapt from one type of plug to another. If the battery and charger both use JST-XH, you're in luck. (Y'know, I just can't figure out why manufacturers use different kinds of balance plugs. Jerks!) When balance charging, you will be using both the main power and balance leads.

Yes both battery and charger use jst-xh And since lipos are like a foreign land to me I didn't know how they charge I know they're different than a nimh Sent from my iPhone in the shop |

Ok guys I just got a poly rc 3s lipo in on a trade the pack is brand new never had ends put on it from what research I've done it has a thunder power balance tap on it. I also got a 2s venom pack in the same trade deal it is used but in great condition ie it isn't puffed. My question is what will I need to charge these packs ie chargers balance boards I'm want to go lipo this trade just moved me in that direction faster Sent from my iPhone in the shop |

Ok guys I hit the jackpot on lipo stuff today in my dads office I came out with 1 good thunder power 2s lipo 1 puffed 2s lipo and a charger he said he got them in a lot off of eBay that he bought for a bunch of cox warbirds didn't even know dad was back into rc Will post pics in a minute The puffed one is trash IMO as I really wouldn't trust it in anything Any thoughts would be appreciated Sent from my iPhone in the shop |
