heyok controller for a 2pos switch losikids hack kit gives you 3 pos channels, cheaper in the long run if you plan to have more than one rig. if your going to buy something to run the winch, and going to have more than one rig, id get the Hack kit. you have to get a controller for each rig if you go with the HeyOK control. nothing wrong with the HeyOK control. biggest factor for me was that i have 4 rigs with winches, i could have bought 4 2pos controls, or just 1 hack kit for my gt3b, i got another rig planed,so id need one more controller. you can run 60 some models off the hacked radio or. go in to 3rd channel EPA and turn it all the way down one direction, left or right, it dont matter, then use servo reverse on ch 3 to control the direction the winch goes, ran mine like this for a few months, works ok, but you can hit the button running and burn the winch up if its set to retract,(did it to a rc4wd winch) or knot the line up if set to spool out(done it many times, pain to untangle) |

The controller keeps the servo from drifting. It's a good thing to get the hey ok controller if you run a servo winch

| Re: Winch control w/ Flysky GT3C ? A fully programmable radio.. any button = any function As an example, I use the steering trim and throttle trim buttons on the top of the radio to control my front and rear winches, and also have the ch3 trim on the handle set up for the front winch (great for single handed use when the other hand is holding the winch line) The ch3 button on the handle being an on/off type is great for switching lights on and off. Regardless, an aftermarket winch controller is a MUST if you have one of the cheap winches. 3racing winch comes with a controller that will stop working the first time it sees any decent load, and the rc4wd controller that comes with the winch cant hold still and will either spool in or out very slowly. They all have their flaws. |

This will require a lighting controller to be plugged into the receiver. Click the link in my sig if you want to see the lighting controllers I make. | |

They do work on their own but there's no way built in to turn them off. I run a separate controller for a switch, basically.
