Default ESC to motor

I'm using a mamba max pro and a tekin pro 4, the esc has 13 ga wire with bullets, i need to solder wire to the motor and connect bullets on the other end. My question is, do i need to use 13 ga wire or can i use either 12 ga or 14 ga wire, that's all i have or should i just get 13 ga.

Thx

Use the 12 gauge if you have it. It's a little bigger then the 13, so there will be less resistance, a good thing.
