What kind of epoxy do you guys use? Thanks.

Most use "potting epoxy", you can look it up on McMaster-Carr or other sites (Digikey, Newark Electronics, etc.).
Yes, it's different than other epoxies.

Epoxy is ok, but if you really want to get the job done there is no substitute for JB Weld. Which JB weld is Technically also an epoxy. Hmmm i Guess that's my Answer.

Cool thanks Charlie-III. I was the one that wanted to know. So I take it that say, airplane epoxy must be corrosive then? Or is it something else about it that dont mix well with electronics?


Jb weld?? With that, the esc will never break hahaha

One thing with potting epoxy is I believe it shrinks less, thus less likely to pull parts off the PC board.

Some epoxies can have metallic fillers in them for strength, which may also mean they can be conductive in the right cases.
