Default ESC and Servo wires

What gauge are these wires? 22?

Anyone using Cat5 or Cat6 wire for in their ESC/Servo/LED wiring?

Yeah, 22ga can work. Just make sure it's stranded wire, not solid. Solid will fatigue break faster than stranded.
If you have 20ga, even better....I'm assuming you are trying to make the leads longer??

I am going to start cleaning up my wiring, add some LEDs, etc. I am planning to get a soldering rig set up and learn how to use it for our RC stuff. I have plenty of Cat wire and wanted to use that if it works. I will look for stranded. I don't mind buying the right stuff if necessary but if I already have parts and wire that work I do not want to buy something.

I use stranded cat 5 wire a lot for wiring LEDs. Works well.

Don't know if you need/want this, but this might be helpful for your lighting:

For LED's, you can use solid wire, just make sure it's anchored well to limit flexing & breaking.

The Cat5 I have is solid. I will ask my network/computer friends for some pieces of stranded.

The network guys probably toss enough cut offs in a day to last an RC guy years.
