Default Spektrum SR410

Spectrum says their SR410 4 channel receiver has a water resistant coating on the circuit board. How water resistant is it? Can it be submerged or more of an accidental splash resistant? If it wasn't $60 for another I'd be willing to "test" it with submerge but that's a bit much to toss away. Should it just be dipped anyways?

It's probably more splashy than sinky. They've got a line of waterproof stuff separate from this. Are you using the DX4S radio? Don't forget, this rx uses dsm-r, which won't work with any previous Spektrum radios.

Yes I am or will be using the dx4s its on its way to me. I know they do have waterproof receivers but they are the dsm not even the dsm2 and they cost more then the sr410.
