Need advice on radio/hack/winch controller,im kinda lost here

Right now im running just one crawler and only need the basics plus something to operate the 3r winch. I understand that I need a radio with a 3 ch position switch,and correct me if im wrong but the only ones that come out of the box is the higher end futaba's and some spektrums right? Im guessing people push for the hacked flyskys because the rx's are dirt cheap instead of going with futaba/spektrum placing rx's $50.00 plus,is this the reasoning?

Can someone explain this servo winch controller,I understand what he done but does this still require a 3 position 3rd channel,or any third channel?.... winch controller.mpg - YouTube

My other option is to hack my flysky gt3b or to buy that switch from the guy here "heyOK" Now his switch allows you to plug it directly into the 3rd channel on the standard non-hacked flysky and just push the button to come out,push to stop,push to rewind,,Correct? Everyone says the flyskys are great radios when hacked and have endless features,but I guess if I did go that route I would be better off getting the new gt3C,which looks to be sold out everywhere anyway.

I already ordered the 3r winch and now need a way to use it when it gets here,so I just want to know my options and what would be best for me,I guess there are many ways to go and its just confusing me.

Yes the gt3b/gt3c radios are extremely powerful when hacked and cheaper than most other options.

With a 2 position channel, the heyok controller is really the only option in the game. Unless you do one of the rc4wd wireless keyfob jobs.

With a 3 position channel, your options really open up.

Whats the options on the flysky radios as far as prices go,is someone selling them fully hacked and ready to go if so whats the price? If not what does the kit cost?

Hack kits still available or on backorder,I know it says backorder,but underneath it says ships out again on march 25th? Anyone know?
