Default mud in me motor

Hi,took my scx10 though some mud for the first time.

great fun but got some mud in my motor,new to electric always been a nitro man.What is the best way to get the mud out,run it in a glass of water then hit it with my airline?got some nitro cleaner could i use that maybe?.Or just leave it,its only the axial motor.

no cleaners run it in clean water blow out with air gun you be fine.

Make sure to lube it after washing and drying it.

Motor spray is what you should be using then Air...do NOT run it in water to clean it out. Running it in water will wear the brushes out even faster....

be sure to lube the bushings/bearings when done cleaning it.

Thanks for the info ordered some electric motor cleaner.For lubing the bushings will light 3in1 oil be ok ?.

Yes, 3in1 is fine. Just a drop or 2 & then spin the armature while holding the oiled end of the motor up so the oil drains down into the bearing. Having a pinion gear on the motor makes it easier to spin the armature.
