| RC4WD Bulldog winch controller overheating (NEED HELP).
So recently i got the Bulldog winch from RC4WD and used it like 2 times, until it started almost burning because it was so hot. I have never had this problem before, and i just unplug it when it gets to hot. And now even when isn't being used but is plugged in, it will start to get VERY hot. Just to give some details about the other electronics, I have the MMP, ROC412 sensored, 10A CC BEC, Hitec 7950, and a 3S lipo. PLEASE HELP ME.

I don't know what is wrong with your controller, but if you aren't able to fix it, click the link in my sig and consider using one of the winch controllers I make. Good luck! Al |

That controller is only rated up to 2s. How do you have it hooked up? Since you are running 3s, that may be the problem, but it depends on where you are getting the power from. Amps has nothing to do with it as it only draws what it needs. |
