Default Oddball question on servos

I have a Futaba 3 prka radio, which does have a 3rd channel. However, it is only a two position switch and it does not have epa for it. I would also like to add a 2 speed transmission to my scx10. Can I get a digital servo to shift with, and set the epa's with a servo programmer?

Hitec makes a programer for the Hitec digital servos. You can set the end points and center position with it. I used mine to set the end points on the DIG servo in my Wraith.
