| Gearing for an 35x36mm outrunner ?
If i whant to put an outrunner that has an 35x36mm stator and 850kv In a hsp pangolin/ax10 what gearing would work on 2-3s lipo ? I have an old sidewinder esc (the first version of the 1/10 scale sidewinder) Witch software vetsion works best for crawling ? There are like 10st to choose from ? |

Gear it as low and slow as possible for best startup. Not sure of any software that has best startup.

For Castle ESC's, I like firmware 1.28. Some of the newer versions don't seem to work as well as the older ones. You can then use a Castle Link to set a "belly" in the throttle curve so when you 1st start to move the trigger, the ESC gets a small signal. |
