I went to reset some things on my fxr and the buttons on it are not working. Mode button will let me go to program mode and then i cant get it to do anything else. Any ideas on a fix, or do i go buy a hotwire? I lost mine or it took legs, thats how i programed it the first time when i bought it.

If you go to the settings with the mode button, then you need to turn it off then back on to run it.

Check to see if you have dirt holding a button or there is moisture inside the case.

No, it will re-arm and go back to neutral if you let it sit for a few seconds.

OP, if you press MODE once to get into the settings, you should be able to press INCR to start adjusting them.

I went out and got a hotwire.. much easier. Works fine, buttons still dont work.

Did you check for dirt holding a button? I've had that happen a couple times.
