Default Remote Switch for LEDs with Dim function

Hi Guys,

I designed a new light controller and wanted some feedback.
This light switch control is meant for the super bright light bars that run from 3S but will work on others too.

I really like these bright light bars, but most of the time I don't need them so bright that it hurts. This controller will let you run them less brightly if you want.

This controller runs from a two position channel.
  • Click the channel once and the lights are at full brightness.
  • Click again for medium brightness.
  • Click one more time for low brightness.
  • The next click shuts them off.
  • .. repeat ..

What I want to ask is if you think three levels of brightness would be enough or would more be better?
It is easy to make more levels, but I think it would get annoying if you had to click too many times to get it to the setting you want.

Please let me know what you think.

You can see it working here running a Crawler-Dad light bar on my Wraith:

Thanks,
Al

You are a credit to the hobby sir.
Looks pretty sweet to me!
I agree 3 positions is plenty.
Keep up the good work!

I have a similar function on my head lamp, with "flashing" as a fourth setting...
Having one more step can be nice, but the best change (IMO) is to have the settings in the opposite order: Start with the minimum level and then increase brightness for each step. That way the user don't get blinded by turning the thing on when a lower light level is desired. (Happens all the time when I use my head lamp.)
