Default High voltage servo wiring?

I currently have this HS-5645MG - Hitec RCD servo that is rated at 6v max. I have a BEC run to my receiver set at 6v.

Lets say if I upgraded to this HS-7940TH - Hitec RCD servo that is rated at 7.4v max.

How would I wire this up? I cannot run my BEC at 7.4v to the receiver can I? I am using a flysky fs-gt3b radio/receiver. Am I even supposed to run the receiver at 6v. Sorry for all the questions but as you can tell I am new to using a BEC and I could not find the max rating on this receiver in the very vague manual.

Thanks

Use this bypass cable to power the servo. Keep the ESC BEC around 6v to power the receiver.

If it's a HV Rx you can.

Exactly!!!

Or instead i wire mine (sodier) directly to the BEC dont use the tan wire (signal wire).

Werd!

That little cable makes it so much more simple and it makes sure your receiver doesn't get roasted. I run them on everything.

The FlySky receivers are not high voltage.

This is another option to run only the steering servo from your BEC. This one is plug and play so it is great if you don't want to do any soldering.

No Brainer BEC
