Default Going brushless with lipos

Ive got two of these

Turnigy nano-tech 5600mah 2S2P 50~100C Hardcase Lipo Pack (ROAR APPROVED)

I'm going to double them up so I'll have 4cell, what's the best way to do this I've got a traxxas y- lead connector will this work?

There be going into my summit!

Do want to double the voltage or capacity?

For a Summit, I believe they need double the volts. Essentially, runs on 4s.

Ok then you either need to buy a series harness or make your own. For the series connection, the two batteries are connected going from one battery to the other, positive to negative, negative to positive. Now you would take the negative lead from batt #1 and the positive lead from batt #2 and solder on your female connector.

You may want to provide an illustration. Your initial description is a recipe for starting a fire if not read very carefully.

This is what ive got so will the work?

TRAXXAS SERIES Y-LEAD BATTERY CONNECTOR 3063

I've got two 2cells and won't to make it into 4 cell
