Default No drag brake going forward.

I have 2 sets of micro sidewinders that I'm having the same issues with, one bec is set to 6.0 volts and the other is set to 7.4 volts.

I am running duel micro sidewinders smashed with a bec set to either 7.4 and 6.0, the issue I'm having is when going forward and let off the throttle it coasts to a stop, but in reverse when you let off the throttle it stops immediately, I've changed electronics to dual fxr's and it still happened just very intermittent, I've changed out the motors and still the same thing.
I run a rutaba 4pk and I am wondering if it is a radio setting issue, or a esc setting issue, or heck even a motor issue, I had the motors rebuilt by Holmes at the start of the season, and it all worked flawlessly up until about 4 months ago (4 comps).

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

How old is your 4pk? It may be time to have it gone through and freshened up. I know Grimreeper had a problem with his a while back. Every now and then his throttle would drift off of neutral, even with the radio sitting idle.

Or check your throttle trim. It may be off just far enough to release the drag brake, but not far enough to spin the motors.

What he said...need to confirm that your radio is finding a good neutral position. There is an option in the menu of the 4PK for ADJST...try that...it's fairly self explanatory.

Also...are you calibrating the ESC's to the radio each time you're swapping between the different setups? If you're not doing this then the ESC's might not be seeing a good neutral signal from the 4PK. Just checking...

Ive used the 4pk for the last 3 seasons with no issues and it only has something like 20-30 hrs on it.

I'll check out the throttle settings and see if that helps.

Anymore suggestions?? Any and all are appreciated.

Try programing the esc's independant of each other. Only plug one lead in at a time, then the other. I remember having some issues setting my trottle all at once one time.

I just read your discription, and now I am a bit more stumped. If it is both sets of Mamba's then I really don't get it. Still worth trying to program each ESC independant of each other to see if that helps.

What neutral band did you set the esc's at?

Got it fixed, changed the throttle settings in the adjust menus and it woked, thanks for all the suggestions.
