| Light kit t attach LEDs to lexan buckets
Hey all, I am wondering which kit I need to attach LEDs to the stock lexan headlight buckets. I didn't see them in the bucket kit. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2 |

search a vendors website for axial led lights and the axial simple light controller. its plug and play, all the hard work is done for you, all you need to do is hog out your buckets to fit the leds and plug the light controller into your reciever. | |

Thanks guys for the responses. I guess my main question is; Is there a.retaining clip that holds the LEDs to the buckets? Just setting the LEDs in there would make them prone to falling out, unless I am just over thinking it. In some peoples pics I have seen some what looked like small black retainers that held the led itself. That is what I'm trying to find out. Any info is appreciated. The small black retainers are generic 5mm/3mm led retainers. You can get them from theShack, or any electronics store, or ebay, for pennies. The same with LEDs. $5.00 for 100 LEDs from ebay. You could use the stock buckets as well, but those are larger and not sure what you are looking for exactly. Or you could by from a vendor on here (I think it is TheScaleShop) that makes a 12 LED light kit that has the chrome buckets included in the package. |

you could also just use shoe goo to glue the leds in the lexan buckets. the radio shack option is cheap, but its VERY do it yourself. you need to calculate your leds and voltage and then calculate what resistor value to use before soldering it all up. its not hard... but its a hell of alot easier to get something with all the figuring out done already. |
