| IDing a motor
I picked up 2 used motors, but have no idea what turn they are, oh ya they are brushed motors, one says Trinity on the can and end bell, the other has ROAR 96 stamped on the end of the can above the pinion, the end bell says EPIC, the epic one turns like it has strong magnets, the Trinity one turns smoother with out the jump of the magnet pull. I thought about putting one in my Wraith to see how it does, but would kinda like to know about what I have. I can take pics if it would help?? |

Pics will definitely help. Some companies stamp the armature with the wind so if you pull the arm out it may say what the wind count is.

The 96 is stock motor from trinity also, EPIC is the name of the import company they used. Your wraith will blow it up quickly, as its locked 24 degree of timing and the wraith runs reverse motor. The other motor, from the sounds of your description is also a stock motor....which again the wraith will blow up for the reason stated above. Pics and I can ID them pretty easy to be sure. Epic motors quite often had a little label jammed into a gap in the comm. that'll give you the number of winds.
