Question Hpi tf 40 an novak dig

I have a novak dig for my bully but my radio is a 3 channel hpi tf40, that has the on an off 3rd channel button, can i still use the dig unit with this radio or does it have to be modified with a 3 position switch? i only want to lock the rear motor for dig action.

If your third channel button is not a three position button, it will not work. I'm going to be selling my spektrum dx3c or e ( cant remember) that I controls my m2 with soon. I went duel escs but it will be a few weeks until I make the switch. I also have an m2 or 2 I'll be moving as well. Hope this helps and if you want to chat about the radio idea, pm me.

Both LosiKid (OverkillRC....link in my sig) & HeyOK make adapters that will make a simple 3rd channel work a dig.
While it works (I ran a 2.2 Bully with both a servo dig & a dual ESC through a WantAmix on a 3PM-x), dual ESC's on a decent radio is best.

Crawlife.....it's "dual" not "duel"......unless the ESC's are having a battle....LOL....

Sorry, just had to, beat on me this Sunday.....

You can either get an adapter from the vendors I listed...or.....I would suggest a hacked GT3B/GT3C from LosiKid/OverkillRC. It's 8 channels, 2.5ghz, lots of model memories, really cheap (~$8 ea) RX's.

Use the DX3R and move the receiver or buy another Spektrum receiver?
