It says it is brushed compatible but the Kyosho magmayhem im trying to install in my kids wraith doesnt seem to fire up? the servo works fine and i know the esc works cuz its brand new out of the box? so....how is it wired to work???? thx in advance | |

Stock it's likely set-up for brushless, you need to change the ESC to tell it that you want to use it with a brushed motor.

yea, ive done that using the cc link but the motor does nothing? now...do i just connect the pos/neg wire from the motor to the esc using just the red and black (A & C) on the ESC and leave out the sensed wire (white/B)?? |

Typically, yes, use the black & red wires from the ESC to the motor. Some CC ESC's last year required the red & white wires. Whatever wire the instructions say to skip for brushed, just tape up the end of the wire so it won't short. As to the ESC not working, did you calibrate it to the RX?? Do you know the motor is good? |
