| which motor ?
hi all; I've got a traxxas velineon brushless esc can I use any brushless motor or does it after be a traxxas motor. oddy

You can use any brushless motor, brand doesn't matter.. I believe the velenion esc has a port on it to ise a sensored motor also.. so if it's in a crawler/scaler, you could run sensored and it may be smoother -sent from my smarter than me phone |

The TRX Velineon has a sensor plug? WTH? Damn I never realized that. Programming must a a pain in the azz though right? The damn thing beeps more than R2D2!

It's a pain getting some sensored plugs seated, but it does run sensored motors. There is no programming, just the three profile selections. If it had drag break, it would be a decent scaler esc.

Yeah there is a blue cover over the port, I can't remember what it says on it..It's on one of the ends of the esc, I Think the front side, but I can't remember..it would be nice woth a drag brake feature..and a programming mode..maybe someday..lol -sent from my smarter than me phone |

From what I read from the manual, it even run brushed motor!!! Any one try this??
