Default Novak Timbuk2 problems

So... Just built up a Wraith kit. Running the Timbuk2 Wraith edition, with Spektrum DX3s (which works great with my Slash) and a SR3300T. Bind goes great, and I have done both the one touch programming on the ESC and more advanced settings. The problem: The ESC is acting like it's getting negative trim (full speed backward). This results in a ton of trim on the radio and a failsafe setting of full speed backward... Any ideas what is going on?

I took it to Mike's RC in Dallas and his advice was "WTF call Novak." Thought I'd hit y'all up first! Any thoughts?
