Default none sensored and no cogging

ok so some ppl think there is no way you can run a none sensored brushless setup in your rig with out it cogging

the truth is you can and here is a vid of my rig crawling around rocks with no cogging

Got a link to the motor and ESC?

Also, what did you say your gearing was (spur and pinion)?

esc is EZRUN-WP80A and motor is a cheap 3300kv hobbywing motor

spur is stock tamiya cr-01 tranny and pinion is 20t

cogged at 2:24

even sensored motors can cogg...mine does.

Brushless technology has come a long way and they don't cog like they used to, but they still do it. Its not as big of an issue with a scaler as it is a comp rig though.

Anyone forgot there truck yet? i did the other day drove 40mins to a mates farm then noticed haha

Yea....i was just pointing out the really obvious cog.

I didnt see anything in that video that was as bad as what I've seen in my wraith when the sensor cable went out...

to tell you the truth it was not cogging that was me on the trigger the down side to brushless when sensorless is that it super touchy trigger its hard to see in the vid i could do another vid just hard to show the truck and radio at the same time

i had a tekin rs and a tekin reline 10.5 in this truck before and it was super smooth no boost no timing on the esc and timing fully backed off on the motor

next time im on a trail run ill take a clip maybe it will show better

many guys that have ran with me trip out when i tell them im brushless and none sensored
