Gearing a brushless axial wraith (tekin gen2) ?
 

Hello, I just put a brand new tekin gen2 10.5 t in my wraith with a gen1 rs esc. Anyway my gearing was 80/20 but now its 80/16, I also have an extra 17 tooth pinion laying around but I would like to make sure that it is a recommended pinion and note that I am using a 3s 5000 mah 50c venom, my timing boost is set at 15 percent and turbo is 0 percent. I really cant overheat it, I have a external high output fan over my RS esc (zip tied). The motor did get hot after 5 minutes of testing the new set-up. But not to hot, I really need help right know if anyone can tell me if I am on the right set-up or anything else I would appreciate it thank you.:)
