Default esc harwiring to a potentiometer and toggle?

hello i'm looking for a way to hard wire my Holmes Hobbies brxl to some sort of controls so i can use it to run a compost tea brewer im working on. I'm going to use a 1 amp 7.5 volt dc power supply instead of a battery. But I dont know how to control it with out the tx/rx. Does anybody have or know of a good diagram out there? thanks
