Default removing red wire on 3s

Got a HH BRXL, while using 3s or larger do i need to remove red wire from esc to rec??? 3s is most i have ever used with other esc & always remove red...Making sure!!!

Any time you use external bec directly to your rx you need to remove red wire from esc. Does not matter what size battery you use. Supplying your esc two ways may damage your rx.

Also there are two different ways to use a bec. You can also keep red wire in to power esc and use power and ground from bec ran directly to servo and supply a wire from rx to servo for the signal. This will result you to send more than 6 volts to the servo and not risk blowing the rx by sending too much power to it.
