I am hooking up a external bec and wanted to know if my lipo cutoff will still work I have a rooster crawler esc thank

It should still work in that the ESC will stop or beep or whatever it does but unless the BEC has its own cutoff it will still be drawing on the battery so you will need to make sure to unplug the battery when the ESC cuts off. Most likely your external BEC will bypass the ESC power switch meaning the power switch will not disconnect the battery completely so if you are in the habit of using the power switch you should change to unplugging the battery instead. |

The above is very good advice. If you wire the BEC directly to the battery and servo even after the lipo cutoff shuts down the esc the BEC is still drawing power. You need to get that battery unplugged to prevent over discharge. Sent from my iPhone using auto correct. |

So the esc will still do the blurp to let me know the battery is getting low. So I don't mess the battery up and I unplug it when I am not using it I know that part lol
